Cortijo Alameda Rules

General requirements

  • All Guests (and any visitors) must comply with all House Rules and any other instructions from the owner during their stay.

Noise and the Neighbourhood

  • This property is suitable for children. Guests are always fully responsible for the safety and security of their children.
  • Guests and their visitors must not behave in a disrespectful way with the residents of the area and minimize their impact on them and the neighbourhood.


  • Visitors must comply with this rules
  • Any additional visitor must be approved in advance during the booking process (or via direct owner approval) and are subject to additional fees as per the house rates


  • Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited at the house.
  • Any small gathering must comply with the house rules set regarding neighbourhood and visitors.

Garbage and recycling

  • Guest and their visitors are to dispose the Garbage and recycling in the bins provided.
  • Garbage and recycling must not be disposed in the surroundings of the property.


  • Any time Guests leave the property, it is their responsibility to ensure all windows and doors are closed/locked to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage.
  • Guests must switch off lights, fans and electronics when not in use to promote energy saving.

Swimming pool

  • For safety reasons, it is not permitted to use any glassware in or around the pool area. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a fine deducted from the security deposit.


  • Smoking is strictly forbidden inside the house.
  • It is only allowed to smoke in the outside of the property
  • Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (i.e., in ashtray provided) and not thrown on the property grounds.
  • Failure to comply with these rules will result in a deduction from the security deposit.


  • Pets are permitted at the house.

Damages and breakages

  • All damages and breakages must be reported to the owner as soon as reasonably practicable. Failure to report them will likely result in a penalty reduction from the security deposit.
  • To avoid damages and breakages, no furniture is to be moved from one room to another without prior agreement.
  • No bathroom towels are to be removed from the property.


  • Breach of any of these house rules is a breach of the Terms and Conditions of the occupancy as per the Rental Agreement.
  • The owner reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy and to evict from the property any Guest or Visitor who refuse to follow these House Rules or who cause a nuisance to neighbours or other residents of the community.
